The Story of Royal Canadian Riding Academy
A Premier Place to Ride. A Place to Belong in Ontario.
Since 1986, Royal Canadian Riding Academy (RCRA) has provided premier horseback riding lessons and elite training for all levels.
For riders, families, and competitors across the GTA, RCRA is more than a facility — it’s Ontario’s premier community to grow, belong, and pursue equestrian excellence.

MEET THE OWNER
BRUNO SCHICKEDANZ
Horses have been a part of my life since the day I was born. I grew up riding on my farm in Manitoba with my brother and sisters and galloping over the fields bareback with our family ponies remains one of my fondest memories to this day.
The opportunity to own one of Ontario's most prolific riding facilities and host everyone from beginner riders to Olympic level competitors at RCRA is incredibly special. As we look to the future, I am excited to offer more horse shows that meet the needs of all equestrians and continue to develop our lesson program to be one of the best Ontario has to offer.
"Come ride with us. Come show with us. Come grow with us."
