RCRA is one of Ontario's most influential equestrian facilities. It started as a single indoor arena facility and has transformed to 3 indoor arenas (including two Olympic sized indoors), 4 outdoor rings, over 250 stalls on site and access to the York Region trail system. The facilities are simply second to none.
RCRA was purchased by Bruno Schickedanz in the early 2000s and continues to be one of Ontario's premiere equestrian facilities for horseback riding lessons, boarding, camps and horse shows.

Horses have been a part of my life since the day I was born. I grew up riding on my farm in Manitoba with my brother and sisters and galloping over the fields bareback with our family ponies remains one of my fondest memories to this day.
The opportunity to own one of Ontario's most prolific riding facilities and host everyone from beginner riders to Olympic level competitors at RCRA is incredibly special. As we look to the future, I am excited to offer more horse shows that meet the needs of all equestrians and continue to develop our lesson program to be one of the best Ontario has to offer.
Come ride with us, Come show with us, Come grow with us!

RCRA has been a part of my life for over 20 years and it has become a second home for me. I still remember my first time coming here for a lesson and being amazed by the facility - I still have that feeling of awe every time I pull in.
I returned to RCRA at the end of 2022 and have been energized to see other equestrians continue to fall in love with the magic of this facility. Being able to watch riders at RCRA shows and in RCRA lessons push themselves to be better riders and better partners is inspiring and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
I look forward to welcoming back old friends and making new ones in 2024 and beyond.
